Don mentioned something about a revenge story back when Seed was released....If anything I want Nica to come back. I feel like she served Chucky some justice after all that she's been through. If they wanted to keep the grandma in continuity, her gasping for air would alert Alice, having her turn around and interrupting Chucky's chant. Maybe he yells at her, but Chucky just kills the grandma right then and there with his knife. Alice would then see Chucky for what he really is (something that I really wish they covered in Curse, but she's still blissfully ignorant by the end) and run away to find Nica at the asylum. Chucky would then follow her there and it would be Nica and Alice trying to escape Chucky the whole movie... It could be low budget, since it would take place mainly in the asylum, and I could see it working out fairly well.
