2025-04-04Rates. Staggered ClosingThe online auction closes three items per minute (may differ on each auction). Please watch the countdown timer on each lot. This feature will close the bidding in intervals. This feature works great with the auto-extend feature to closely emulate a ‘live’ auction.Soft Closing (auto-extend)The closing time of an item is automatically extended an additional 60-120 seconds whenever a bid is placed within the last 60-120 seconds of the item’s closing time, thus allowing a backup bidder the opportunity to raise their bid. Bid NotificationIf you have been outbid, you will be notified by email or phone notification (app users) ONLY UNTIL the last two minutes of the item’s scheduled closing time. To quickly review your bids and see if you have won, you can utilize the “My Items” feature. Items that you have been outbid on will be clearly marked.By registering to bid, you expressly consent to receive communications from Enlisted Auctions and its representatives via email, phone, and text messages, including but not limited to communications for payment collection, marketing, auction updates, and other business purposes. You acknowledge that these communications may be made using automated or manual systems and agree that standard messaging or data rates may apply. You may opt out of certain communications as provided in our Privacy Policy or by following the instructions in our communications.Winning Bidder NotificationYou will be contacted by email or phone notification (app users) for any items you have won. If you feel you have won an item and have not received an email you must notify us by email no later than 9:00 am the next day. If you do not receive an emailed invoice then you did not win any items at the online auction. In the event an item is missing from your lot, the buyer must notify our onsite staff before leaving the auction premises. After 24 hours, the Auctioneer and buyer agrees that no adjustment or refund will be made.Images Don't Guarantee ItemsFor demonstration purposes various equipment may be joined. Do not assume a lot consists of more than one item simply because they are connected or pictured together. Please inspect the lot numbers and read the descriptions.Abandoned Items/Delinquent AccountsThe Auctioneer will have the option of reselling, removing, storing or abandoning, purchased items not paid for and/or removed within the specified timeframe. The buyer agrees to pay all deficiencies, legal, collection, transportation and storage expenses associated with delinquent accounts or abandoned items.Choose WiselyWe want everyone to get a good deal and most will. However, when you bid on the wrong item or decide an item is not suited for your intended use, our clients are not willing to assume the cost of your mistakes. When in doubt about condition, completeness or suitability for intended use, please bid accordingly. The auctioneer reserves the right to add or remove items from the auction, split or combine lots, add minimum bids or reserve prices, cancel, suspend, extend or reschedule an individual item and or auction event, make changes

Chief Master Sergeant (E-9)The rank of chief master sergeant is the highest Air Force enlisted rank, with the exception of the chief master sergeant of the Air Force. The CMSAF is a distinctive rank with special basic and retired pay rates set by law. Chief master sergeants serve as managers and superintendents, advisers, enlisted force managers and provide senior enlisted leadership. Following selection, CMSgts are assigned chief enlisted manager (CEM) codes and may fill any managerial-level position and perform all duties not prohibited by law or directive. The average service-wide, active-duty time for advancement to the rank of chief master sergeant is more than 22 years. Command Chief Master Sergeant (E-9)Command chief master sergeants serve as senior advisers to unit and base commanders. CMCs advise the commander on all enlisted matters, including all issues affecting the command's mission and operations, and the readiness, training, utilization, morale, technical and professional development and quality of life of all enlisted members in the organization. Command chiefs are the functional managers for all SNCOs in their entire command/organization.Moving up the Air Force Ranks: Only 1% of the Air Force enlisted personnel can hold the grade of E9 at any one time. This makes the competition for CMSgt promotions extremely tight. Chief master sergeant promotions in the Air Force are made using both the WAPS points and a Central Evaluation Board that reviews the individual's promotion record. To be eligible for promotion, a SMSgt must have a minimum of 14 years' TIS and 21 months' TIG. Chief Master Sergeant of the Air ForceThe chief master sergeant of the Air Force (CMSAF) is a unique noncommissioned rank in the United States Air Force. The holder of this rank and post represents the highest enlisted level of leadership in the Air Force and provides direction for the enlisted corps and represents their interests, as appropriate, to the American public, and to those in all levels of government. The CMSAF is appointed by the Air Force Chief of Staff (AF/CC) and serves as the senior enlisted adviser to the Air Force Chief of Staff and the secretary of the Air Force on all issues regarding the welfare, readiness, morale, and proper utilization and progress of the enlisted force.Interested in Joining the Military? We can put you in touch with recruiters from the different military branches.
