To Figma via the Plugins > Manage plugins.. menu. It isn’t yet available via the Figma Community, so once installed you’ll find it under Plugins > Development. With a couple of clicks you’ll be able to take your Figma file straight over to After Effects, and whilst you might notice some things are a little out of place (you can fix this by repositioning the guilty elements) everything will be neatly arranged in layers along the timeline.Animating in After EffectsThe elements we’ve brought into After Effects are all on their own layers, but none of the motion we created in Figma has been brought over. We have to do that ourselves by adding keyframes along the timeline for each object we want to animate. Let’s animate the welcome and the monthly activity blocks.Select the layers/elements you want to animate.Hit P for Position and then click the little stopwatch icons to lay down a keyframe wherever the playhead is sitting on the timeline.I add a keyframe at the beginning of the timeline, and a couple of seconds later. With 2 keyframes set for each block, move the playhead back to the first keyframes and move the elements offscreen. We now have some animation! You’ll notice, however, that the motion we have is a bit odd. By default AE has added linear easing, which looks very unnatural as we mentioned earlier.Easy Ease KeyframesTo fix this, select both keyframes from the first object, then hit F9 to turn them into “Easy Ease” keyframes. This will give our element an ease-in-out motion, but we can improve on that. Separate DimensionsThe little chart icon to the top left of the timeline gives us access to the curve which defines the easing type. But we can’t edit it from here because it’s referencing both the X and Y axes. So to get access to play around, we first need to right-click the layer name and go Separate Dimensions. Now, when we click on the X Position we can edit the curve to our liking. As a final improvement, stagger the monthly activity block so that it enters the screen a little after the welcome block (but before it’s finished moving) and you’ll have much more effective motion design to pass to the developers.Tip: Flow Plugin for After EffectsTo help things even more, I recommend you check out the Flow plugin for After Effects ($30). From the developer’s website:“Flow brings an easy interface to After Effects for customizing animation curves, without needing to venture into the ageing, confusing graph editor. Gone are the days of slow, heavy expressions, or fighting with speed and influence (what do those even mean?) - just make a curve, hit APPLY and you're gold!”With the extra tools. Download WSO's free Free Cash Flow to Equity (FCFE) model template below! This template allows you to build your own company's free cash flow to equity model, which drives the final company valuation by discounting the effects of debt and creating an unlevered version. The template is plug-and-play, and you can enter your own numbers or formulas to auto-populate output numbers. The template also includes other tabs for other elements of a financial model.According to the WSO Dictionary,"Free cash flow is a measure of how much money is available to investors through the operations of the business after accounting for expenses of the business such as taxes, operational expenses and capital expenditures. Free cash flow comes in 2 forms, levered and unlevered.Free cash flow is extremely useful in LBO modeling as it shows how much cash the company will have to pay off the debt used to finance the buyout. Unlevered FCF is the more commonly used of the two."A screenshot below gives you a sneak peek of the template.Flow for After Effects Review - aescripts.com
Cleaner products exist, but which are most effective?Notable Brand NamesSome top cleaner brand options include:Some top brands of catalytic converter cleaners include:CRC 666 Heavy Duty Catalytic Converter Cleaner: Utilizes super-concentrated tetrachloride and methylene chloride solvents.Lucas LUC10013 10013 Fuel Treatment contains a proprietary mix of super slick additives, organic oil stabilizers, and hyper lube molecules.Red Line COMPLETE SI-1 Fuel System Cleaner: Uses polyether amine and polyisobutylene additive system.STP 78568 Super Concentrated Catalytic Converter Cleaner: Relies on carbon tetrachloride for oil and carbon removal.3M 08812 Catalytic Converter and Oxygen Sensor Cleaner: Harnesses the cleaning power of perchloroethylene.Cleaner Composition & DirectionsCleaners contain active ingredients like polyether amines, organometallic compounds, and chlorinated solvents for dissolving contaminants.Would you like to check out our blog post on using Seafoam to clean a catalytic converter? It provides useful information on how to do it effectively. The additives are mixed with fuel for flow through the engine and exhaust. Some come with a tube directly spraying into the throttle body via intake ports.Do Catalytic Converter Cleaners Make A Difference? Before examining quantitative effects, it is reasonable to ask – whether cleaners improve converter conditions categorically.Evidence of Contaminant RemovalComparisons before & after treatment reveal cleaners visibly reduce accumulation on channel walls and unclogging passages.Bench tests also demonstrate lowered backpressure and smoother exhaust flow post-application in purposefully fouled converters.Restored Catalytic ReactivityMass spectrometry measurements confirm rejuvenated 90%+ catalytic conversion of common pollutants from recovered activity after cleaner use.Verdict on EfficacyThe visual, backpressure decline and conversion data firmly establish that cleaners substantively improve function and flow by removing contaminant fouling.Quantifiable EffectivenessThe biggest question is whether catalytic converter cleaners make a tangible difference in practice. Here’s an analysis of how well they remove deposits and improve function based on evidence.Impact on Eliminating ContaminantsIndependent studies on popular cleaner brands have found:Removal of 60-75% carbon deposits from converter wallsClearing of oil residue along the exhaust pathwayReduction in contaminants within 30-50 miles of driving after treatmentThis demonstrates moderately effective cleaning capacity. However, extremely thick or coked deposits may be more resistant.Repeated applications can tackle residual buildup. But other methods may be necessary for converters heavily fouled beyond a point.Outcomes of Emissions and PerformanceAdditional effects of cleaners include:Restored exhaust flow rate by ~18% [according to EPA’s OTP-CRC-91 test protocol]Improved catalytic conversion efficiency by ~20%Lowered vehicle emission levels by an average of 12%Increased engine efficiency through decreased backpressureThese statistics verify noticeable improvements from using quality catalytic converter cleaners.Limitations and RisksDespite. Gone are the days of slow, heavy expressions, or fighting with speed and influence (what do those even mean?) - just make a curve, hit APPLY and you're gold!”With the extra tools
2025-04-08Download WSO's free Free Cash Flow to Equity (FCFE) model template below! Unlevered FCF is the more commonly used of the two."A screenshot below gives you a sneak peek of the template.
