Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. I usually use Safari and Google Chrome as my Search Browser's. I use google to search but it seems to redirect to a different search engine (For Google Chrome it redirects to yahoo and Safari it redirects to a couple of domains but ultimately lands on safesearch.com). When I switch the default search engine to duckduckgo, yahoo, etc, it doesn't seem to redirect to the domains (Only Google). I ran the MalwareBytes scan but it didnt find anything suspicious. I read the Removing "Search Marquis" / "Search Baron… - Apple Community article and provided the screenshots, but ultimately I don't know what I'm looking for in these files and if they are considered malicious. If you see anything strange in there delete it, for example I had something in there that said mmghlihhhbfsgdvdsfg. deleted this and tried searching on Google again it it fixed the issue!! I've done all that. Didn't work. I had this problem a few months ago, did that procedure and it worked, but now it's back again. I did those procedures again, and I even reset my browser settings, and it still redirects to Yahoo. I can't even re-sign in to my google account because it keeps saying my browser isn't safe, and I have McAfee activated. This is really stressing me out here. #4 I have been searching and searching for a resolution to this problem!I finally fixed it!!!
