To celebrate this moment, we are working on bringing back special events in a new way that works more server side to allow you to gain rewards by completing unique goals across multiple versions of OneBit! We also updated various sprites so you may notice certain items have gotten a touch up. This new update is going to rollout to Open Beta players around August 10th and should release after a few days of testing.4 Year Anniversary EventLevel up and gain exclusive rewards through this special event by collecting confetti, cake, and popping balloons! There are balloons attached to pillars mainly in overworld and underworld. You can pop them by moving into them. There is a 50% chance for it to drop confetti which you can use to explode confetti upon killing an enemy. Cake can be found in chests as having it on the ground would be a health hazard, but the reward of eating cake comes with healing 100 hp with a 5% chance to become cake itself! VIP 2 players will be able to claim from both free and premium tiers as you level up. We have updated the way VIP Rewards works which now is a range of VIP. Galactic Slice, LLC Made in MilwaukeeI am Jonathan Concepcion, CEO and lead developer of Galactic Slice and this is the start of my gaming company made in Milwaukee. For the longest, I was living the full-time life working 40-48 hours in retail until a back injury put me on the light load list. My life's biggest questions hit me like a ton of bricks. What if this happens again? How will I support my family? Is there anyway to prevent this? In the end, I looked back at some of my old game projects I made in Unity and decided it was time to go full force in releasing an actual game. I grew up playing games and went to college for game design with no luck in landing a job in that field. Overtime, I didn't have confidence that I could do it alone until OneBit Adventure came to my mind. A simple game that could dominate the imaginative mind and bring forth potential in the roguelike world. In this, Galactic Slice was born as a company that would bring games from out of this word in a simple yet effective slice of gaming.The beginning was slow and steady with lots of burnouts. I stumbled across a free asset pack that caught my eye. Being a programmer, I didn't have much flexibility in creating assets nor the artistic eye. That's when Scott Hartill (aka Cluly) came along to help with creating tiles and characters for the project, Onebit Adventure. Within 3 months, I was able to develop a playable version where you could adventure and survive against some rogue turn-based enemies. There is an endless amount of variety and challenges to the overall game and the fun of the real chicken battle.The second level introduces a new weapon to the arsenal of the game - the Chicken Invaders 3 Repertoire. This allows you to fire three times in quick succession; perfect for opening up the attack on the larger and more numerous rollings. You also receive a brand new shield, which has a higher defense. In order to increase your chances of success against bigger and more aggressive enemy birds, you should place the blue pebbles on your pebbles field.
