Studies without being distracted and without doing anything else. The technique says that you should set the timer to work for 25 minutes and accomplish your task in that 25 minutes. Once the Pomodoro timer rings, take a short and relaxing 5-minute break and repeat. Every set of 25 minutes is called a “Pomodoro“ and after every 4 sets of Pomodoro, you must take a longer break. During your break time, you have to do anything except work. This will help you accomplish more in lesser time. I use a similar technique myself where I do 20-minute bursts of work with 10 minutes of break time in between.Should You Use the Pomodoro Technique? If you are someone who is constantly distracted by even the small little things or if you keep checking your social media accounts and other online platforms unnecessarily every 10 minutes or so then this time management method (Pomodoro Technique) will help you focus a lot better and you will end up becoming a lot more productive. This technique although helpful to almost everyone may not work for some and if it doesn’t work for you then you can try one of the other time management techniques. Now that we understand what the Pomodoro technique, let’s take a look at some of the best Pomodoro timer for Windows computers to keep you focused. Here’s are some of the most frequently used Pomodoro technique apps for Windows 10 / 8 / 7 operating systems.
