The largest We Were Here game to date, Forever delivers a "big step up," according to managing director Lucia de Visser from developer Total Mayhem."Our goal for We Were Here Forever is to further refine the cooperative gameplay people love so much from the series, designed for a new generation of hardware with a more immersive, darker, livelier Castle Rock. One cannot help but wonder what happened to those explorers who got left behind," the developer said.For those new to the series, you play as an Antarctic explorer who gets mixed up in the wild world of Castle Rock. All of them, one way or another, end up split into pairs and eventually trapped inside Castle Rock. We Were Here Forever is the fourth installment of the We Were Here series. It is a co-op puzzle game where two players have to help each other out in solving puzzles while navigating through mazes and obstacles within a castle.This guide will cover the puzzles in the Ruins of Rockbury, one of the three locations where you and your partner need to go to search for a missing part for the astrolabe in the chapel. After riding the cart to go down from the chapel, you arrive at the abandoned village which will serve as the hub area. Heading to the left from the sign post will lead you to the Ruins of Rockbury. Activate the lift system and shove the frozen corpse off the chair so that you can ride the lift to the quarry.Note: if you have decided to do a different location first, make sure to deposit the astrolabe piece into the astrolabe machine in the chapel to be able to proceed to the other locations.Village hub.Fix the LightAs you arrive at the quarry, you will see a huge suspended lamp shining a bright white beam of light. Make your way through the platforms and ramps and along the way, you will see a scroll that says “I’m confident it guards what I seek, the giant owl door. But how does it work?”. It sits on top of a lever. Pull the lever down to bring down a drawbridge.Continue down the path until you reach the bent light scope. Nearby is a caged room that has a broken gate. Released On: Oct 10, 2019 My Score Hover and click to give a rating Saved Ultimately, We Were Here Together is a must-play for fans of both co-op adventures and challenging puzzles. There are a few minor issues here and there (especially where the online matchmaking is concerned), but this new entry serves as a delightful cherry on top of an already impressive franchise cake. If you can find a likeminded friend willing to go on this adventure with you, I’d recommend doing so as soon as possible. One the other hand, if you’re still not convinced, I’d suggest picking up the original We Were Here, which is currently free on Steam. We Were Here Together provides a great assortment of co-op challenges that will test your ability to communicate vocally as well as to solve them together. Best game to chill with friend and spend a few hours together solving the puzzles. I wish its just a beginning for Total Mayhem Games and we will see more their projects from this company in furute. [SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.] We Were Here Together is, by far, the best installment of the whole series. It’s finally long enough to last you several evenings, it’s much prettier, better to listen to, and its puzzles - finely tailored for two-player cooperation - will torture your mind. It’s just a shame that the story is so weak it’s barely even there. We Were Here Together wants to be more than just a light-hearted co-op puzzle game. The narrative layer that this must bring, however, especially detracts from the puzzles, which are strongly designed and can stand on their own. We Were Here Together falls just short of the snowy peaks it was aiming for, but it is fun and interesting, and really stands out for emphasizing co-op puzzle-solving in a way few games have. So, go out and have some fun. Together. We Were Here Together isn’t going to be for everyone, but if you’re a good communicator and enjoy working together then you really ought to give it a try. After riding the cart to go down from the chapel, you arrive at the abandoned village which will serve as the hub area. Heading to the left from the sign post will lead you to the Ruins of Rockbury. Activate the lift system and shove the frozen corpse off the chair so that you can ride the lift to the quarry.Note: if you have decided to do a different location first, make sure to deposit the astrolabe piece into the astrolabe machine in the chapel to be able to proceed to the other locations.Village hub.Fix the LightAs you arrive at the quarry, you will see a huge suspended lamp shining a bright white beam of light. Make your way through the platforms and ramps and along the way, you will see a scroll that says “I’m confident it guards what I seek, the giant owl door. But how does it work?”. It sits on top of a lever. Pull the lever down to bring down a drawbridge.Continue down the path until you reach the bent light scope. Nearby is a caged room that has a broken gate. 2025-04-05SSL E-Series EQMention SSL desk EQ to anyone in the know and their first question will probably be, ‘Which colour?’ SSL explain: “Prior to 1987 SSL used the colour of the Low Frequency EQ knob caps to indicate which type of EQ was fitted. All consoles were custom built and could feature different combinations of EQ module. The following colour codes apply:E-Series BROWN: The original SSL EQ fitted to all consoles prior to the summer of 1985. Despite the rumours these equalisers only came in one version. The EQ card was called the ’02’.E Series ORANGE: The infamous EQP equaliser. This was a variation on the Brown EQ with controls simulating the curves of a valve type EQ. Very few were sold. This card was named the ‘132’.E-Series BLACK: The last version of the standard E series EQ. It evolved in the early 1980’s from discussions with many top engineers and proved very popular. The EQ card was called the ‘242’.G-Series: With the arrival of the G Series console in 1987 the colour coding was abandoned and the classic SSL end cap colour scheme used today was adopted.
